About Florida Cockroach Control

Florida Cockroach Control is a referral service. We connect residents, landlords and property managers across Florida with independent, local cockroach and palmetto bug specialists. We don't perform the pest control work ourselves, and we don't handle any other pests.

Florida's warm, humid climate means outdoor species like the American cockroach (locally called the palmetto bug) stay active year-round, while indoor German cockroach problems are common in apartments, condos and kitchens statewide. We built this site to help people quickly understand which situation they're dealing with and get connected to someone who can help. Call-only, no forms, no waiting on email.

How a Call Works

When you call (866) 384-0870, you'll be asked a few short questions: where the property is, what kind of building it is, and what you've been seeing, including size, color and the rooms where roaches show up. Those answers decide who you're connected with. A small tan roach in a kitchen cabinet calls for a different specialist and a different plan than a large palmetto bug in the garage after a storm.

You're then connected with an independent specialist who covers your area and handles that kind of situation. Scheduling, pricing and the treatment plan are all discussed directly between you and that specialist before any work begins. There is no charge to call, and you're never obligated to book.

Who the Specialists Are

The specialists in our network are independent local pest management businesses. They are separate companies, not our employees, and each one is responsible for its own work, licensing and service terms. If you want to confirm licensing, ask the specialist directly or look them up with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, which regulates pest control businesses in the state.

What This Site Is For

Every page here is about cockroaches and palmetto bugs in Florida. The guides explain identification, warning signs and how to prepare for a visit. The service pages describe common situations, from single-family homes to condo buildings and commercial kitchens. The area pages cover what's different about each community, such as winter freezes in North Florida, king tides in Miami, or canal homes in Cape Coral.

Nothing on this site is legal, medical or tenancy advice. For questions about lease obligations, health concerns or building code, consult a qualified professional or your local housing authority.

Where We Connect Callers

We cover all seven regions of Florida: South Florida, Southwest Florida, Tampa Bay, Central Florida, the Space & Treasure Coast, North Florida and the Panhandle, with a page for each of 451 communities.
